Installing snapchat with AAS on SFOS

Some users have reported being able to install snapchat.

• Device: Sony Xperia 10 III
• SFOS version: 5.0.0.72
• AAS with microG version: 0.3.11.250932
• using the following older apk
• https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/snap-inc/snapchat/snapchat-11-95-0-39-release/snapchat-11-95-0-39-android-apk-download
• and then logging in
• and finally updating using the aurora store

To discern whether or not this is a good idea is left as an exercise for the reader.

Your banking app is not listed here? You can test it yourself and add an entry here yourself (this wiki is open) or you can report it in the linked thread above. If you don't own Sailfish yet, you might also want to ask in the mentioned thread if someone can test your app for you.

There are three categories:  

• Native apps: These are apps designed for SailfishOS which can be downloaded either in the Official Jolla Store, from Chum ore Openrepos/Storeman. These are the preferred apps to be used on Sailfish.
  
  
• Web apps: These are apps designed to be used in a web browser. They can be accessed either with any web browser on SailfishOS (e. g. the native "Browser", Angelfish or any Android Browser in AppSupport)
  
• These are apps designed for Android which run under SailfishOS with the Android AppSupport. They can be downloaded from Aurora Store (preferrably) or other sources for Android .apk-files.
